Are You Ready to Actually Retire?
Knowing when to retire is harder than knowing how much to save. The timing depends on what your retirement actually looks like: how long your money needs to last, what you'll spend, and where your income comes from.
When to Retire: A Quick and Easy Planning Guide is built for investors with $1,000,000 or more who are ready to move from saving to planning. Download your free guide and start working through the details.
Hi 👋🏻
I was thinking about something that might be your food for thought as well.
It is a harsh summer, and I was thinking what if I had an AC in my house, we could enjoy the chill indoors. But the next second, another thought popped up. Around 11% of Indian households do not own a fan, air cooler, or air conditioner.
While I do have a fan and a cooler (though it does not work well, so I barely use it), I realised something important. I was not grateful for what I have. Instead, I was complaining about what I do not have.
48 hours
To change that, I decided to run a small experiment. For 48 hours, I would not complain about anything.
And you would not believe it, life feels much better in this phase. I feel more grounded and more grateful for everything.
The food my mom makes, the gym subscription I have, the roof above my head, and so many small comforts I usually ignore. It instantly changed the way I look at my life.
So if you want, make sure to give it a try. It’ll be worth your time.
Thanks for reading 🙂
I’ll do more such challenges, and I’m sure you’ll love it.
See ya!
