Hi there, Anirban here 👋🏻

Welcome to another edition of The Growth Flywheel.

Today, we are talking about someone who conquered LinkedIn like very few ever have.

He is the king of organic marketing. By now, you have probably guessed who it is.

Yes, it is Jasmin Alic.

Who’s Jasmin Alic?

Jasmin Alic is a personal branding coach from Bosnia with 343K followers on LinkedIn.

Everything he has built is completely organic, and it is still growing over time.

He has built a community, makes six figures in USD every month consistently, and is booked out until the end of next year.

Growth playbook

In order to become the best in any field, you need to keep your audience/customers ahead of you, or rather, I’d say keep them at the centre of your business.

Jasmin did the exact same thing.

Whatever Jasmin does, everything is audience-led.

1. Commenting

Jasmin talks about commenting the most, and his commenting strategy got featured by LinkedIn.

He himself comments more than 150+ times on others’ posts. And he stays active for around 2 hours and engages on his own post.

That’s where the actual game happens. Let’s say, as you’re my audience and if I keep talking about you and keep solving your problem, wouldn’t you stick with me forever?

2. DM

Earlier, Jasmin used to run his entire business on inbound, right now, he reaches out too. But only warm reachout. i.e. If anyone sees his profile, or engages with him

So right now it’s an inbound + outbound funnel. Even if the person doesn’t buy, they get some free coaching from Jasmin and become a trusted soldier and eventually join the community because it costs only $2k/lifetime.

3. Community building

As I’ve mentioned, Jasmin’s business is audience-centric, so I need to give you more supporting statements.

I want you to go to LinkedIn now and just type Jasmin in the search bar.

And you’ll be able to see, every day, at least 5-6 people are posting about him or tagging him in their posts.

And I don’t have a count of the comments he gets tagged.

The people work to make him more popular than he himself ever do.

4. Events

Before LinkedIn retired the in-app audio/video events from LinkedIn. Jasmin hasn’t done much, but recently he did it and guess what? 2k+ people registered for it. So, there is a ripple effect, more people get to know about it.

Even the new people know about him, because every time someone talks about him.

5. Content

Jasmin does not create content on any other platform. He focuses only on LinkedIn, and he has been posting four times a week for quite some time now.

Most interestingly, his content has been largely educational, but recently, there has been a shift. It is now more personal and focused on mindset.

Because of this, more people are following him and getting to know him on a personal level. The audience feels closer to him, which builds stronger trust. As a result, it has become easier for him to sell.

One thing that must be mentioned is his pinned comments. After around ten minutes, he drops a pinned comment, which attracts roughly 250 additional comments on the post.

What he has to offer you:

He has built a community for LinkedIn creators

You can join here. It’s called LinkUp.

Or, you can use his Linkbound SaaS tool, which is something like Sales Navigator, but it only tracks the warm active users. You can check it here.

Also, 1:1 coaching, which you can find here (You can’t find it on LinkedIn, right now)

Thanks for checking today’s edition. See you on Thursday,

Anirban
